About the role

Inviting applications for a Java Developer role. Open for only freshers with a maximum of 5 years of experience. No OPT candidates. Looking for only citizens or Green Card holders.

Requirements
  • Testing – Application of technical knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical abilities, attitude to test-to-break, problem solving, willingness to learn and suggest process improvement.
  • Knowledge of current technological trends in the software development industry such as OOPs, multi‑tier software development, component architecture, web‑based software.
  • Knowledge of system integration issues.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data and draw logical conclusions.
  • Should have adequate programming skills and proficiency in JAVA, JSP, Servlets, EJB, SQL/Oracle, J2EE and other JAVA technologies.
  • Looking for only Green Card holders.
Responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing, and delivering high quality software projects in JAVA, SQL/Oracle, J2EE and other JAVA technologies.
  • Participate in detailed level design, coding, code walk‑throughs, peer code reviews and unit testing, system testing, UAT, demos, POCs, installation, and maintenance of software modules.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code; ensuring that project tasks are completed within defined effort and timelines.
  • Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Testing:
    Writing test cases, unit testing, system testing, negative testing.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Log analysis and database query optimization.
  • Improving operations by conducting system analysis.
  • Updating job knowledge by studying state‑of‑the‑art development tools, programming techniques, computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
  • Protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Providing information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
  • Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying system flow, data usage and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the delivery cycle.
