Forward Deployed Engineer & Agentic Workflow Engineer

Build production-grade AI solutions, multi-agent workflows, and enterprise integrations in a hybrid Tampa role. This opportunity offers a $150,000 to $285,000 compensation range, the chance to work directly with client teams, and significant impact across emerging AI and intelligent automation initiatives.

• Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in AI/LLM application development, agentic systems, or intelligent automation

• $150,000 to $285,000 (based on experience).

• Design and implement multi-agent orchestration workflows using Lang Graph, CrewAI, Auto Gen, or equivalent frameworks.
• Develop AI agents with task planning, tool use, memory management, structured outputs, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Build LLM integrations, system prompts, retrieval strategies, function-calling patterns, and auditable output workflows.
• Create enterprise integrations using APIs and MCP connectors for ERP, EPM, CRM, HRIS, and other business systems.
• Package and deploy agent solutions as containerized microservices with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate directly with client finance, IT, and data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and demonstrate working agents.
• Mentor engineers, contribute reusable accelerators, and support AI delivery methodologies and innovation initiatives.

Required

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/LLM application development, agentic systems, or intelligent automation.
• Production experience building multi-agent systems and understanding agent-loop design, task decomposition, tool use, and memory management.
• Strong Python skills and proficiency with Type Script or JavaScript.
• Experience with FastAPI or an equivalent framework for exposing agent capabilities as APIs.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, structured outputs, function calling, context-window management, cost optimization, and model latency tradeoffs.
• Experience working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and delivering production software on compressed timelines.
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• Forward-deployed or client-embedded engineering experience.
• Experience with enterprise APIs, MCP connectors, ERP, EPM, CRM, HRIS, data lakes, or finance data schemas.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS;
  Docker or Kubernetes; vector databases; and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.
• Finance domain knowledge, including month-end close, variance analysis, revenue recognition, accounts receivable/payable, or FP&A.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure AI Engineer, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, GCP Professional ML Engineer, Lang Chain, or equivalent agentic AI credentials.
