Position: Amazing Athletes- Karate Zoo Instructor
Overview

Join our dedicated team at Amazing Athletes as a Karate Zoo Coach
. This role involves teaching young children the fundamentals of martial arts while incorporating elements from our Karate Zoo program, using animal characters to make learning martial arts enjoyable for kids aged 18 months to 6 years.

As a Karate Zoo Coach, you will lead classes that promote physical fitness and instill values such as discipline, respect, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with children and their families, making a positive impact on their lives. Whether you are an experienced martial arts instructor or simply passionate about working with children, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities
  • Lead karate zoo classes and demonstrate proper technique in a safe, engaging manner
  • Follow the curriculum and guidelines provided by Amazing Athletes
  • Promote physical fitness and essential values (discipline, respect, teamwork)
  • Engage with children and families to support learning and development
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience working with children (professional or volunteer) in coaching or teaching roles is preferred
  • A love for sports and martial arts, with a desire to inspire young kids
  • Availability to work flexible hours, primarily mornings (9am-11am) and afternoons (3-5pm)
  • Reliable transportation to travel to various locations
  • Ability to engage and connect with children in a positive way
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Background check required
