Seasonal Part-Time Coach

Overview

Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking part-time coaches for various athletic teams in the Middle Division (grades 6–8) and Upper Division (grades 9–12). These are seasonal, part-time coaching opportunities and will vary by season.

• Commit to attending every practice and athletic contest of the team for the duration of the season.
• Provide constructive feedback to athletes and deliver sport-specific instruction.
• Ensure unwavering supervision and a positive, safe environment for student-athletes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sport rules and guidelines; adhere to required courses and certifications.
• Model excellent sportsmanship and help create a positive team culture.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director and staff as needed; participate in interview process for specifics.

• Experience coaching or assisting in the relevant sport.
• Ability to commit to the full season and practices/games as scheduled.
• Strong communication, supervision, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of safety practices and adherence to sport-specific rules and guidelines.
