Job Summary:

The Specialist - Extended Operations Maintenance is responsible for overseeing and managing various extended services that support our transportation operations while fostering enhanced customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Specialist - Extended Operations Maintenance will take charge of coordinating related services, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, managing relationships with internal and external service providers, and investigating and resolving service-related issues in a timely manner.

This is a vital role in the continuous improvement of our service offerings, working collaboratively with multiple departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate extended service maintenance support, and service offerings related to transportation operations.
  • As required coordinate local equipment repairs with existing QRS shop management (via on-call list)
  • Support after hours callers needing assistance with maintenance and service related issues
  • Coordinate road service by reaching out to approved vendors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with industry regulations
  • Investigate and resolve service-related issues and complaints proficiently and respectfully
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with external service providers, ensuring effective collaboration

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Background working with Maintenance, maintenance vendors, warranty, truck stops, repair facilities, and so on.
  • Proven experience in service coordination within the transportation or logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with transportation management software (TMW)
  • Ability to work a Wednesday-Sunday shift

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the trucking industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED
