Receiving Lead – Warehouse

Job Description

Receiving Lead – USA Tools in Tampa, Florida (33610). Full‑time, entry level in the Automotive Wholesale distribution industry. Reports to the Warehouse Manager.

• Lead and oversee all receiving operations.
• Unload incoming shipments using a forklift (forklift experience required).
• Inspect and verify all incoming products against purchase orders or packing slips.
• Ensure all returned products from the sales team are processed correctly and routed to the appropriate department (new product, warranty, repairs, etc.).
• Clean, sort, and restage blue bins for the next shipment cycle.
• Accurately label and organize incoming materials and place them in designated locations (racks, shelves, or bins).
• Update computer systems to record received items; must be comfortable working with a computer.
• Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to leadership promptly.
• Convey materials from receiving areas to storage or production areas as needed.
• Assist with quality control checks and ensure accuracy in all receiving documentation.
• Maintain clear and organized receiving areas to meet housekeeping standards.
• Comply with all warehouse policies and procedures.
• Assist in training warehouse staff on proper receiving procedures.
• Support outbound operations as needed, including packing, labeling, and staging shipments.

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• May involve excessive walking, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers.
• Must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
• Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (rarely up to 70 and up to 100 lbs with assistance). Must stand and/or walk for prolonged periods.
