Accountant; Part-Time

Job Scope

• Checking that payment vouchers and receipts are prepared correctly with the necessary supporting documents.
• Ensuring accounting entries from payment vouchers are correctly posted into Quick Books.
• Checking that journal adjustments are posted correctly.
• Verifying the accuracy of monthly financial statements, including:
  
  Income and Expenditure Statement Trial Balance Balance Sheet
• Submitting the monthly financial statements by the end of the third week of the following month.
• Preparing consolidated financial statements for the SMC bank account.
• Responding to audit queries and providing information required for the annual audit.

• Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant of Singapore status.
• Preferably at least a Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• At least three years of accounting and audit experience.
• Preferably experience preparing accounts for a government-aided school.
• Practical knowledge of Quick Books

• Once a month or as and when required
• 3 hours per session
• Salary per hour $65 to $80
