Location: Tampines, Singapore
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily workplace and site safety inspections, particularly for clean room installation, testing and commissioning activities
.Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe work practices, and recommend reasonably practicable corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with WSH requirements
, project safety rules, and client requirements.Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings and regular safety briefings.
Monitor workers' compliance with PPE, clean room gowning and entry/exit procedures
.Ensure proper housekeeping and control of dust, debris and contamination within clean room areas.
Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, electrical works, lifting activities, hot works and confined space works
, where applicable.Review and monitor Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Permit-to-Work (PTW) and method statements
.Conduct regular inspections of machinery, tools, equipment and work areas.
Investigate workplace incidents, near misses and unsafe occurrences, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain proper safety records, inspection reports, incident reports and other WSH documentation.
Attend site coordination and safety meetings with the project team, contractors and client representatives.
Liaise with supervisors and workers to ensure safety, health and welfare requirements are implemented.
Support internal and external safety audits and inspections.
Carry out other WSH-related duties as assigned by the management.
Possess a recognized WSHC Level B Cert and relevant Singapore WSH knowledge.
At least 2 years of relevant practical experience is required for the statutory WSHC appointment criteria.
Able to communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, contractors and clients.
Able to work independently and conduct regular site inspections.
