Overview

Test Technician / Test Engineer role in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Location:

Tampines. 4-Day Work Week. Salary:
Basic S $3,000–S $5,000 per month plus allowances as described in the job posting.

• Interpret Test Process Instructions (TPI) and support training for production personnel.
• Provide technical guidance on testing procedures and assist with troubleshooting during production.
• Maintain training records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Create and maintain server Golden Images (GI) and ensure test database accuracy.
• Configure rack test templates based on engineering documentation.
• Support deployment of rack configurations into production test systems.
• Maintain component database records and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot test-related issues, perform basic root cause analysis, and escalate complex issues when required.
• Coordinate issue resolution with internal teams through established processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to junior team members where appropriate.

• Associate Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in testing, manufacturing, or production environments, or at least 4 years of relevant experience without the stated qualification.
• Experience with server, hardware, rack, or electronics testing is advantageous.
• Able to commit to rotating day and night shifts after the training period.

• Basic knowledge of Linux and/or DOS operating systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts.
• Computer hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting capability.
• Ability to read and understand Python or other scripting languages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• 4-Day work week;
  Day and Night shift rotations after training.
• Training period: first 3 months, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Post-training shifts: weekly rotating 12-hour shifts or fixed shift teams (Team A: Mon–Thu; Team B: Fri, Sat, Mon & Tue; Team C: Wed, Thu, Fri & Sat).
• Rest day:
  Sunday.
