Key Duties
- Perform 3D/CNC programming and setup of milling machines (Fanuc control system)
- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills for high-precision parts
- Apply knowledge of machine tools, speeds, feeds, and insert technology
- Provide technical support on production issues
- Design and re-design jigs and fixtures for machining purposes
- Verify finished parts against specifications using measuring and inspection tools
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in CNC Milling (Precision Engineering Industry)
- Hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC mills
- Ability to read drawings;
Proficient in Mastercam and Solid Works - Familiar with Fanuc control systems
- Good knowledge of milling tooling, machining processes, and CNC manufacturing (setting / programming / operating)
