Location:
East Region, Tampines
Salary:
Up to $4,500base/month + Allowances
Working Hours:
12-hour rotating shifts (8.00am – 8.00pm / 8.00pm – 8.00am)
Work Schedule:
4 days/week on a rotating roster
First 3 Months – Training:
Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm
After Training – Rotating 3
Shifts:
A Shift: Mon–Thu | 8:00am–8:00pm
B Shift: Fri–Sat 8:00am–8:00pm + Mon–Tue 8:00pm–8:00am
C Shift: Wed–Sat | 8:00pm–8:00am
Our client, a leading provider in data centre infrastructure manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Data Centre Manufacturing Team Leader to oversee shop floor operations, lead shift technicians, and ensure high-precision manufacturing schedules and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Shift Supervision & Execution:
Lead and supervise manufacturing associates and assembly technicians during assigned shifts to meet daily production targets for data centre equipment/enclosures.Resource & Workflow Optimization:
Allocate manpower, line equipment, and materials to optimise production line efficiency, workflow, and output.Quality & SLA Monitoring:
Monitor manufacturing activities against quality specifications, cycle times, and operational KPIs, escalating safety or engineering discrepancies promptly.Process Oversight:
Oversee sub-assembly, full system integration, quality checking, testing preparation, and staging for final dispatch.Operational Escalation:
Serve as the primary point of contact for line issues, technical bottlenecks, and downtime management during the shift.Inventory & Material Flow:
Coordinate with the materials and warehouse team to ensure steady availability of raw components and accurate WIP tracking.Process Compliance & Improvement:
Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), 5S lean manufacturing methodologies, and strict workplace safety guidelines on the shop floor.Team Training & Performance:
Onboard, train, and guide shift operators on equipment usage, assembly standards, and safety compliance while managing shift attendance and performance.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Proven operational experience in a manufacturing, assembly line, or high-precision production environment (experience in data centre equipment, heavy engineering, or IT hardware manufacturing is advantageous).
Demonstrated track record in shift leadership, line supervision, or team management.
Familiarity with shop floor systems (e.g., MES, ERP), 5S methodologies, and manufacturing quality controls.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and manpower scheduling skills.
Comfortable working 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
