Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Occupational Health & Safety
Safety Inspections & Workplace Monitoring
Conduct daily, bi-weekly, tri-weekly and monthly workplace safety inspections according to the established inspection schedule across assigned sites.
Join in 6S safety walks with customers and operational teams and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and areas for improvement.
Follow up with relevant operations/site teams on safety observations and corrective actions until closure.
Support customer-led and joint safety inspections where required.
Assist the H&S Manager in investigating workplace incidents, near misses and safety-related events.
Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 8D investigations where applicable.
Work with site operations to identify immediate containment, corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor and follow up on action items to ensure timely closure and prevent recurrence.
Conduct and coordinate monthly internal safety training across assigned sites.
Facilitate or support Toolbox Meetings (TBM) and onsite safety presentations.
Prepare relevant training materials, safety communications and presentation slides.
Support workforce awareness of workplace hazards, safe work practices and safety requirements.
Compile safety performance data, inspection findings, incident trends, corrective-action status and other relevant H&S information.
Prepare presentation materials for Monthly Safety Review Board (SRB), Monthly Business Review (M ), quarterly SRB and other safety cadence meetings.
Attend relevant customer and internal safety meetings and provide safety updates/presentations when required.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, incidents and corrective actions.
Support the H&S Manager in coordinating safety activities across multiple customer and operational sites.
Participate in new operational module meetings, trials, risk/safety assessments and implementation reviews.
Attend operational cadence meetings and assist with preparation of safety updates and presentation materials.
Liaise with operations teams, site representatives, customers and other stakeholders on H&S matters.
Support compliance with company H&S requirements, customer requirements and applicable workplace safety standards.
Identify recurring safety issues and recommend practical corrective or preventive measures.
Assist in implementing safety improvement initiatives and monitoring their effectiveness.
Promote a proactive safety culture through regular engagement with operational teams.
Take necessary disciplinary actions on staff and manage shift-level conflict resolution.
Perform complex WMS transactions, including inventory reversals, manual allocations, and cycle count adjustments with proper supporting documentation.
Own operational reporting workflows, automating daily/weekly performance reports using advanced Excel functions.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query, macros) and ability to navigate ERP/WMS platforms deeply.
Strong documentation skills for SOP drafting and compliance evidence gathering.
Demonstrated ability to supervise a team, deal with staff firmly but fairly, and maintain a high-performance shift culture.
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Industrial Engineering.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in contract logistics, shift supervision, or operational business support.
Exposure to Lean/Kaizen methodologies and basic continuous improvement tools.
