Test Engineer | Up to $5,500 + Shift Allowances | 4-Day Work Week | Tampines

Salary & Benefits
  • Basic Salary: $4,000 – $5,500 (based on qualifications and experience)
  • 12-hour Day Shift Allowance: +$12 per shift
  • 12-hour Night Shift Allowance: +$24 per shift
  • Meal & Transport Allowance: $16 per workday

Working Hours

Training Period (First 3 Months)

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

After Training

  • 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Choose one fixed 4-day work pattern:

  • Team A:
    Monday – Thursday
  • Team B:
    Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday
  • Team C:
    Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Rest Day: Every Sunday

Key Responsibilities
  • Support production testing activities and ensure compliance with test procedures.
  • Interpret and implement Test Process Instructions (TPI) while providing training to production operators.
  • Guide operators during testing and resolve process-related queries.
  • Create and maintain Golden Images (GI) and ensure testing database accuracy.
  • Configure rack test templates based on engineering documentation and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Coordinate production readiness to support on-time delivery.
  • Work closely with software and engineering teams to deploy testing configurations.
  • Maintain databases for new hardware components and system updates.
  • Troubleshoot production test issues, perform root cause analysis, and elevate complex cases where required.
  • Raise and track technical support tickets until resolution.
  • Coach and support junior technicians where necessary.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Candidates without a relevant qualification are welcome to apply with at least 4 years of relevant testing or manufacturing experience
    .
  • Candidates with 2–4 years of relevant experience in a testing or manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in server, rack, or hardware testing is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux or DOS operating systems
    .
  • Understanding of basic electrical concepts.
  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and basic network hardware.
  • Able to understand Python or other programming scripts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Able to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
