Position: Manufacturing Test Engineer - $4450 - $6140 - 4-Day Work Week

Test Engineer (Up to $5,500 + Allowances) | 4‑Days Work Week

Salary & Benefits
  • Basic Salary: $4,000 - $5,500
  • 12‑hour Day Shift Allowance: +$12 per shift
  • 12‑hour Night Shift Allowance: +$24 per shift
  • Meal & Transport Allowance: $16 per work day
Working Hours

First 3 Months (Training):
Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

After Training:
Weekly rotating 12‑hour Day/Night shifts – 8:00AM – 8:00PM or 8:00PM – 8:00AM. Every Sunday off. 4‑day work week (team rotation):

  • TeamA:
    Monday – Thursday
  • TeamB:
    Friday, Saturday, Monday &Tuesday
  • TeamC:
    Wednesday, Thursday, Friday &Saturday
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret Test Process Instructions (TPI) and provide training to production testers.
  • Support production operators on testing procedures and resolve testing‑related queries.
  • Maintain and upload training records for audit compliance.
  • Create and manage server Golden Images (GI) while ensuring database accuracy.
  • Coordinate approvals to support production readiness and on‑time shipment.
  • Configure rack test templates based on engineering requirements.
  • Work with software teams to deploy rack configurations into test systems.
  • Set up and maintain databases for new hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot production test issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Escalate complex technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
  • Raise technical support tickets and monitor issue closure.
  • Mentor and guide junior technicians when required.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree, Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2‑4years of relevant experience in a testing or manufacturing environment (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience with server, rack, or hardware testing is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux or DOS operating systems.
  • Understanding of basic electrical concepts.
  • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and basic network hardware.
  • Ability to read and understand Python or similar programming scripts.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Able to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
