Job Summary
The Store Assistant supports daily store and inventory operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking of stock. The role also provides basic administrative support and assists in coordinating maintenance and other operational activities to ensure smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities Store & Inventory OperationsReceive and check incoming deliveries against purchase documents.
Assist with stock-in, labelling, and proper storage of items.
Prepare and pack stock for issuance to requesting departments.
Support stock requests and timely dispensing of supplies.
Maintain accurate records of stock movement and inventory levels.
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks.
Ensure the store is well-organised, clean, and properly maintained.
Assist in the coordination of corrective and preventive maintenance works and services.
Prepare basic procurement and store-related documents.
Support general administrative tasks such as mail distribution and document filing.
Attend to ad-hoc requests from relevant departments.
Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Minimum secondary education or equivalent.
Prior experience in store, warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related roles is an advantage.
Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word).
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock and records.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit to handle store and stock-related tasks.
Responsible, reliable, and willing to learn.
