Roles and Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with students and provide timely guidance and support.
- Assist in managing student conduct and behavioural issues, including conflict resolution and de-escalation.
- Supervise students and monitor their interactions, behaviour, and well-being.
- Identify and report concerns requiring attention or intervention to designated school personnel.
- Liaise with school staff, parents, guardians, and relevant stakeholders to support students.
- Maintain accurate records of student incidents, observations, interventions, and follow-up actions.
- Stay updated on youth behavioural trends and issues affecting student well-being.
- Maintain professional boundaries and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Follow school policies, procedures, and reporting protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the school.
- Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in education, youth-related, community, social service, or other people-facing environments is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Able to engage effectively with children and youths while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Observant and responsive, with the ability to identify behavioural concerns and situations requiring intervention.
- Able to manage challenging or sensitive situations calmly and professionally.
- Demonstrate sound judgement, maturity, patience, resilience, and adaptability.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and prepare clear and accurate documentation.
- Able to work collaboratively with students, parents, guardians, and school personnel.
- Suitable for working in a school environment and supporting student conduct and well-being.
