Reconcile accounts and balance sheets, investigating and resolving discrepancies assist with Profit & Loss analysis and provide support with financial queries

What will you do as an Assistant Management Accountant?

* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts in a timely manner

* Reconcile intercompany balances and loan accounts

* Review company credit card analysis and maintain controls

* Prepare monthly sales data and reporting for key customers

* Maintain monthly rebate registers and approve customer repayment invoices

* Prepare and submit VAT returns

What do you need as an Assistant Management Accountant?

* Previous experience preparing or supporting management accounts

* Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting

* Experience with journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations

* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines

* Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) would be advantageous

* AAT qualified or equivalent experience
