Position: HLTA Higher Level Teaching Assistant and Early Years Teaching Assistant

A great opportunity at a brilliant school with very well behaved children! We need a positive and enthusiastic person to be an early years Teaching Assistant in the morning and a Higher Level Teaching Assistant in the afternoon - opportunities to lead our after school club and Forest School too!

Teaching Assistant with additional lunchtime responsibility - Staffordshire Scale Grade 4 (points 5
- 6)

Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Staffordshire Scale Grade 6 (points 9 - 15)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm. 32.5 hours per week, term time only, 39 weeks a year. There is an opportunity for additional hours from 3.30pm to 4.30pm as our After School Club Leader, (Grade
4). This would bring the total working duration to 37.5 hours per week.

Daily routine of the successful candidate:

8.30am – Preparation time for HLTA tasks.

8.45am – Reception TA, (a passion for early years education is vital).

12pm – Escorting the pupils to lunchtime then remaining in the hall to support lunchtimes for 30 minutes.

1pm – covering teacher release time, (possibility of also leading Forest School, one afternoon a week).

3.25pm – hometime

3.30pm – lead the after-school club until 4.30pm, (optional).
