Make a Difference as a Sports Coach in Education!

Teaching Personnel are looking for confident and resilient Sports Coaches to support mainstream secondary schools across Tamworth.

This role is ideal for individuals who bring energy, leadership and strong behaviour management skills. You’ll be working closely with young people who benefit from structure, positive role models and consistent support throughout the school day.

What You’ll Do

Support pupils within small group and classroom settings
Promote positive behaviour and engagement
Work as a cover supervisor and stand in, in the absence of the class teacher
Lead exrta curricular sports sessions
Help drive engagement with extra curricular and sporting activities
Build strong, professional relationships with students and staff
Provide day-to-day support across mainstream secondary schools
Act as a positive role model within the school environment

Who We’re Looking For

Confident, calm and consistent individuals
Strong leadership and communication skills
Resilient and able to manage challenging behaviour
Experience working with young people (coaching, mentoring, youth work or similar)
DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
