Are you experienced in operating within high-risk confined spaces, carrying out or supporting confined space rescue, and hold relevant City & Guilds Confined Space qualifications?

This established private training provider specialises in delivering safety-critical and technical training to professionals working across demanding industrial environments. They continue to invest in their people, facilities and training capability and are looking for an experienced Confined Space professional to join their Liverpool training team. In this role, you'll deliver specialist high-risk Confined Space and Rescue training, alongside Working at Height and Rooftop Access courses where appropriate.

You'll combine classroom-based learning with practical demonstrations, rescue scenarios and assessments, using genuine operational experience to ensure delegates can work safely and competently within high-risk environments. The position is predominantly based at the company's Liverpool training centre, with only occasional travel required. The ideal candidate will have significant practical experience working within high-risk confined spaces and confined space rescue, alongside relevant City & Guilds Confined Space qualifications.

Previous experience delivering or assessing City & Guilds Confined Space programmes would be highly advantageous. You could come from utilities, power, gas, fire & rescue, emergency services, heavy industry or another safety-critical environment, but you must have genuine operational high-risk confined space and rescue experience. General Working at Height, Health & Safety or training experience alone will not be sufficient.

The Role:

* Deliver high-risk Confined Space training
* Deliver Confined Space Rescue training
* Deliver and assess City & Guilds Confined Space programmes
* Deliver Working at Height training
* Deliver Rooftop Access training where appropriate
* Run practical rescue exercises, demonstrations and assessments
* Deliver classroom and practical safety-critical training
* Train and assess delegates from a variety of industrial backgrounds
* Predominantly based at the Liverpool training centre
* Only occasional travel
* Monday-Friday
* Structured professional development and further qualifications

The Person :
* Must have demonstrable high-risk Confined Space operational experience
* Must have practical Confined Space Rescue experience
* Must hold relevant City & Guilds Confined Space qualifications
* Working at Height experience and relevant qualifications
* Experience delivering or assessing City & Guilds Confined Space qualifications highly advantageous
* Experience with in a safety-critical environment
* Could come from utilities, power, gas, fire & rescue, emergency services, heavy industry or similar
* Previous Confined Space training/instruction experience highly advantageous
* Rooftop Access experience advantageous

Teaching and/or assessor qualifications advantageous
* Able to demonstrate genuine practical knowledge of high-risk confined space rescue ???????
