Job Role of the Technical Services Estimator An exciting opportunity has opened for a detail-driven Technical Services Estimator to join a well-established and growing business in Tamworth. This role is key in supporting the Sales function by producing accurate and commercially competitive cost estimates across a range of projects. Projects can range from individual bespoke residential builds to large plot developments and multi-site commercial or industrial installations.

You will be joining a team of technical specialists and will act as a central point of expertise for both internal teams and customers regarding product specifications and pricing. You will be responsible for:
Producing accurate and commercially viable costings based on client requirements and technical documentation Interpreting technical information to develop clear and structured pricing proposals Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather relevant product and commercial data Assessing incoming enquiries and identifying suitable technical solutions where needed Ensuring all quotations align with internal governance and pricing frameworks Acting as a technical point of contact for both internal teams and external clients Supporting the ongoing development and refinement of estimating procedures Managing a high volume of requests while maintaining accuracy and meeting agreed turnaround times Sector - Manufacturing / Building Products / Construction Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Technical Services Estimator Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Background in manufacturing, building products or construction Requirements for the Technical Services Estimator Clear communication skills (written and verbal) Strong numerical and analytical ability Organised and methodical approach Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach

Desirable Requirements for the Technical Services Estimator Knowledge of 2D drawings or technical schematics Relevant qualification in engineering or construction Previous estimating experience The Technical Services Estimator will benefit from:
