Job Title: HR Advisor (Temp Support)
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 (pro rata)
Contract: Temporary – Immediate Start – Ongoing until end of April
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide interim support within a busy HR function based in Tamworth. This is a temporary opportunity offering valuable exposure within a fast‑paced environment while the organisation awaits the arrival of a new permanent HR Business Partner.
The assignment is expected to run through to the end of April, with the potential to extend slightly depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Acting as the first point of contact for all HR queries across the business
- Managing a range of Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues
- Drafting HR documentation including contracts, letters and formal correspondence
- Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems
- Supporting day‑to‑day HR operations and advising line managers on best practice
- Providing a thorough and structured handover to the incoming HR Business Partner
- Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
- Confident handling ER cases independently
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting formal documentation
- Organised, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
- Available to start at short notice
CIPD qualification (Level 3 or
5) is desirable but not essential.
