Job Title: HR Advisor (Temp Support)

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (pro rata)

Contract: Temporary - Immediate Start - Ongoing until end of April

The Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide interim support within a busy HR function based in Tamworth. This is a temporary opportunity offering valuable exposure within a fast‑paced environment while the organisation awaits the arrival of a new permanent HR Business Partner. The assignment is expected to run through to the end of April, with the potential to extend slightly depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries across the business
  • Manage a range of Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues
  • Draft HR documentation including contracts, letters and formal correspondence
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
  • Support day‑to‑day HR operations and advise line managers on best practice
  • Provide a thorough and structured handover to the incoming HR Business Partner
About You
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
  • Confident handling ER cases independently
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting formal documentation

    Organised, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Available to start at short notice

CIPD qualification (Level 3 or
5) is desirable but not essential.
