Support Analyst – ERP

Location : Birmingham

Reporting to : Senior Systems Engineer

Department : Business Systems

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual with hands‑on ERP experience who is eager to develop into a Business Systems Analyst over time. This role is ideal for someone currently in a support position who wants to move into project work. You will work closely with the manufacturing division and third‑party software developers to gather and capture business requirements, provide troubleshooting and support, and assist with testing activities.

The successful candidate will have exposure to ERP systems and ideally experience within a manufacturing environment. You must be prepared to think on your feet, find answers, and take a proactive approach to problem‑solving. The role involves approximately 10% travel and requires a full UK driving licence.

• Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements within the manufacturing division.
• Provide day‑to‑day ERP support and troubleshooting for users.
• Assist with system testing, including planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Support projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure ERP systems meet operational needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes and configurations.
• Deliver user training and guidance to ensure effective system usage.

• Experience in a support role with exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar).
• Hands‑on experience working with ERP platforms, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• UK driving licence.

• Experience with software testing methodologies.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Familiarity with system integrations and data flows.
• Interest in developing into a Business Systems Analyst role.

• 35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience plus company car or car allowance
• Annual bonus - 10%
