The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting an Assembly Technician / Panel Wirer in Tamworth. Excellent pay at £14.93 per hour with overtime paid at £22.40ph, day shifts only, and immediate starts available. Long-term opportunity with a prestigious engineering manufacturer.

• Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 17:00
• Friday: 07:00 - 12:00
• £14.93 per hour
• Overtime paid at £22.40 per hour
• Day shifts only - no weekends
• Free onsite parking

You will be working in a modern, clean workshop environment assembling and manufacturing components into complete machines ready for testing and dispatch. This role involves mechanical assembly, control panel wiring, and working from detailed instructions to ensure high-quality standards are met. This is a long-term opportunity with overtime available and excellent prospects for the right candidate.

• Mechanical fitting and assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products
• Control panel assembly and panel wiring
• Wiring and testing of chambers using work instructions
• Self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met
• Finishing and packaging machines ready for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Occasional picking and packing of spares orders
• Supporting and assisting with training when required
• Contributing ideas to improve efficiency and reduce waste
