Veterinary Surgeon – Tamworth
Salary up to £70,000 DOE
My Client have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly team This role is perfect for a vet with a surgical bias who is looking to broaden their skills, with the potential to progress into a Lead Veterinary Surgeon position. With some of the colleagues having been there for more than 20 years, you’ll be joining a practice with real stability, a supportive atmosphere, and a strong family feel.
This is a full-time position, based on 40 hours over four days each week, with just one Saturday in three and no Sundays or out-of-hours. Flexibility matters, so part-time hours can also be considered. They’re looking for a proactive and motivated vet who enjoys a balance of surgery and consults, is confident with sole charge when required, and brings excellent communication skills alongside a genuine passion for animal welfare.

Certificate study or specialisms will be fully encouraged and supported.
The practice is currently undergoing an exciting refurbishment, creating a modern environment equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and dental facilities. They see a varied and interesting caseload, which helps them deliver excellent clinical care while also offering plenty of opportunities to develop your skills. Conveniently located just 15 miles north of Birmingham and within easy reach of Cannock, Lichfield, Burton upon Trent and the M6.
You will be working closely alongside a supportive team of four vets, six nurses, three receptionists, and two practice managers. Collaboration and professional growth are at the heart of everything they do, so you’ll feel welcomed, valued, and encouraged to thrive in your role.
