Location:

West Midlands Rate: £300 to £400 per day via umbrella, negotiable depending on experience

Contract:

3 to 4 months initially, with potential for extension Working Pattern:
Hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week visiting care homes and providers across the area

Start Date:

ASAP We are currently working with a local authority in the West Midlands who are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Assurance & Improvement Officer on an interim basis. The role will sit within Adult Social Care and will focus on provider quality, quality assurance and improvement across the service.

Key Responsibilities Carrying out quality assurance visits and audits with care homes and other Adult Social Care providers Monitoring provider quality, compliance and contract performance Identifying areas for improvement and supporting providers with action and improvement plans Following up on quality concerns and monitoring progress against agreed actions Working closely with commissioning, operational and external partners, including CQC Supporting quality monitoring and reporting, including the use of audit and performance tools Providing clear evidence and recommendations around provider quality and service improvement Essential Experience Recent experience within Adult Social Care Strong experience in quality assurance, quality monitoring or provider monitoring Experience working within commissioning or contract monitoring Experience carrying out provider visits, audits or quality assessments Experience using quality assurance or audit tools/frameworks Good understanding of CQC requirements and Adult Social Care quality standards Ability to work independently and hit the ground running This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Adult Social Care professional with a strong background in quality assurance, commissioning or provider monitoring.
