Quality Inspector - CMM | Competitive Salary | Flexible Hours | 33 Days Holiday| Increased Pension
A successful precision engineering and manufacturing business is currently seeking a Quality Inspector - CMM to join its established Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-organised company offering structured training and long-term stability. The successful professional will operate CMM and manual inspection equipment, ensuring components meet specification and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
Quality Inspector - CMM duties include
- Inspect components using CMM with PC-DMIS software and standard measuring tools.
Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and GD&T requirements.
Complete inspection reports and record results in line with quality procedures.
Carry out incoming goods inspection and support supplier quality verification.
Identify and report non-conforming components, supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement within inspection and manufacturing activities.
Desirable skills and experience for the Quality Inspector - CMM role
- Experience with in a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, CMM Operator or similar position.
Experience operating CMM equipment, ideally using PC-DMIS software.
Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience using verniers, micrometers, height gauges and surface finish testers.
Previous experience within precision engineering or manufacturing.
