This Technical Sales Representative role is about being out in the field, in front of customers, turning technical expertise into commercial results. You’ll own a large, high-value territory in the UK wood finishing sector, balancing new business growth with long-term account development, while representing a specialist abrasives product range that customers genuinely rely on.

What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Technical Sales Representative
Driving sales growth across the wood finishing sector within your regional territory
Developing new business while expanding and protecting existing customer accounts
Demonstrating and selling abrasive systems at customer sites and exhibitions
Managing regional responsibility for national and key customer accounts
Travelling extensively across the territory, including 30–40,000 miles per year and 1–2 nights away per week
Representing the business at trade shows, exhibitions and customer premises, including hands-on product demonstrations
What you’ll bring to the table as a Technical Sales Representative
Previous carpentry or sales experience, ideally within the UK wood finishing sector or a related technical market.
Located within the territory (North Wales / West Midlands / East Midlands)
Experience presenting technical products and solutions to senior management
Confidence handling power tools, abrasives and product demonstrations
Ability to manage physically demanding aspects of the role, including lifting equipment and long days on exhibition stands
