Office-based A market-leading national distributor is seeking an energetic Sales Account Manager to manage and grow customer accounts from its Tamworth office. This is a full-time internal sales role suited to someone who enjoys working to targets, building strong customer relationships, and being involved in quotations, order processing, and stock coordination.  The role You will be responsible for achieving sales targets while delivering a consistently high standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

Achieving sales targets by value, volume, and gross margin Managing and developing existing customer accounts Identifying and developing new accounts Producing accurate quotations using internal systems Managing the full sales order process from enquiry through to fulfilment Liaising with internal teams to ensure stock availability and service levels Producing monthly sales reports Supporting stock purchasing and stock turn objectives Maintaining professional day-to-day communication with customers via phone and email Attending regular sales office meetings  About you Proven experience in sales or account management (internal sales experience preferred) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Commercially aware and target driven Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload Self-motivated and proactive Comfortable working independently and as part of a team  Whats on offer Basic salary up to £27,000 Bonus scheme (up to 20%) Private healthcare Pension scheme Long-term career opportunity within a stable, well-established business
