HGV Class 1 Drivers Needed in Tamworth

We are currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client, you will be working on Nissan Contracts OR Trunking to Sunderland & Back

Monday - Friday, with bookings confirmed around 2 days in advance. Start times can vary, so flexibility is essential.

Job Details

* Day Work (Collections):

* Start times between 04:00 – 10:00

* Collections for Nissan & Yusen Logistics

* Some collections may be in Wales, with set collection times

* Curtain sider work

* Loads must be ratchet strapped

* Drivers will need scanner training (provided)

* Night Work (Trunking):

* Start times from around 15:00 up until 19:00

* Trailer swaps only

* Possible trunk to Sunderland and return

* Majority of work is night runs

Additional Information

* FLT off only – no handball involved

* Drivers must have good communication skills and be proactive if running late or facing issues

* Professional and reliable drivers required

Pay Rates

 * £20.00 per hour – LTD

 * £16.00 per hour – PAYE

Requirements

* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

* Minimum 2 years experience required

* Valid CPC & Digi Card

* Confident with curtain siders and load restraint

* Flexible with start times

* Reliable and professional attitude
