Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist experienced in home health for a day shift float pool assignment in Maryland; BLS and MD state license required.
Responsibilities- Home health setting with 1:1 patient ratio
- Part of the home health float pool, providing care within the community
- 40 hours per week, day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Uses Homecare Homebase for charting
- Provide direct patient care and therapy services in the home health setting
- Responsive to the needs of various patient caseloads within the float pool
- Professional attire in accordance with home health guidelines
- Time off requests must be submitted with initial application
- Active MD state Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent home health or homecare experience required
- Familiarity with Homecare Homebase and OASIS documentation required
- Open to first-time travelers with 2 years of recent homecare experience
