Construction Safety Officer

Our client is seeking a dedicated Construction Safety Officer to join their team in Bogor. This role is paramount in ensuring that all construction activities adhere to the highest safety standards and regulatory requirements, safeguarding the well-being of all personnel on site. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, conducting regular inspections, and providing training to the construction workforce.

• Develop, implement, and manage the site-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plan.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Provide safety orientation and ongoing safety training to all site personnel, including subcontractors.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports, and liaise with regulatory agencies as required.

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., AK3 Umum) are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction site hazards and risk assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication, training, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team.
