Role Description The Head Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Tangerang, responsible for leading classroom instruction and overall learning experiences for preschool and daycare children. This role includes planning and implementing developmentally appropriate, bilingual lessons that reflect Montessori principles, Disney English, and the national curriculum. Day-to-day tasks involve supervising teachers and assistants, modeling effective teaching practices, ensuring classroom safety and hygiene, and maintaining a nurturing, engaging environment for children aged 1 to 6.

The Head Teacher collaborates with families through regular communication, progress updates, and parent meetings, while also supporting enrollment activities and school events. This position works closely with the school leadership team to uphold academic standards, refine curriculum, and contribute to continuous improvement of Circle Time!’s educational programs.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education and Pedagogy
  , with the ability to apply child-centered, developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood settings.
• Experience in Curriculum Development
  , including designing lesson plans and learning activities aligned with Montessori principles, bilingual instruction, and national standards.
• Demonstrated Educational Leadership skills, such as guiding teaching teams, mentoring staff, and supporting a positive, collaborative school culture.
• Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues, including the ability to provide clear feedback and regular updates on student progress.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field; relevant teaching certification is an advantage.
• Prior experience as a lead or head teacher in preschool, daycare, or early childhood settings, preferably in bilingual or international programs.
• Ability to maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and classroom organization, and to respond calmly and responsibly in daily and emergency situations.
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian, with strong documentation and report-writing skills; familiarity with Montessori or similar child-led approaches
