Chemical Process Engineer – SCG

The Process Engineer ensures that SCG’s manufacturing processes run at peak efficiency, delivering consistent quality while optimizing cost, energy use, and sustainability. With a background in Chemical Engineering
, this role involves analyzing, improving, and innovating processes that support SCG’s businesses.

• Monitor and analyze production parameters to maintain process stability and product quality.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for deviations, inefficiencies, or equipment issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield, reduce waste, and optimize energy usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, quality, and operations) to execute improvement projects.
• Support trials of new raw materials, fuels, and process technologies.
• Document and standardize operating procedures and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare reports on process performance, production losses, and continuous improvement results.
• Contribute to SCG’s sustainability initiatives through resource efficiency and emission reduction projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering

• 0–3 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing; strong internships also considered.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data.
• Familiarity with process modeling, statistical tools, or Lean/Six Sigma is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
