Senior HSE Staff – Power Transformer Manufacturing
Job Description
Responsible for implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs to ensure a safe workplace, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection in the power transformer manufacturing process.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with HSE policies, legal requirements, and company procedures.
Conduct safety inspections and workplace risk assessments.
Monitor safe work practices in production, testing, maintenance, and warehouse areas.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct HSE training, safety induction, and toolbox meetings.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Monitor hazardous waste, chemical handling, and environmental compliance.
Maintain HSE records, reports, and KPIs.
Coordinate emergency response, fire drills, and evacuation exercises.
Support implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing; experience in power transformer or electrical equipment manufacturing is preferred.
Good knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response.
Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
HSE certifications (e.g., Occupational Safety Expert/AK3, ISO Internal Auditor) are an advantage.
