About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Control Manager to join the dynamic team at Sunway Trek Masindo. As the Credit Control Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's credit control processes, ensuring timely collections and maintaining a healthy cash flow. This full‑time position is based in Tangerang, Banten, with the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.
Whatyou'll be doing
- Oversee the credit control function, including credit assessments, credit limit management, and collections
- Develop and implement effective credit control strategies to minimise bad debts and improve the company's cash flow
- Closely monitor customer accounts, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them
- Negotiate payment terms with customers and liaise with the sales team to ensure alignment on credit decisions
- Maintain detailed records and generate regular reports on the company's credit control performance
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections
- Provide training and guidance to the credit control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a credit control or accounts receivable
- Having legal knowledge / law background to manage customer credit and legally pursue overdue debts and adhering to regulations, understanding of legal implications, formal procedures, and compliance, making credit controllers more effective at handling complex collections and risk management for businesses.
- Thorough understanding of credit management principles, debt collection techniques, and credit reporting processes
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and address credit‑related issues
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in using credit management software and Microsoft Office applications
- A team player with a proactive and customer‑centric approach
