Medical Technologist & Lab Technician
Perform laboratory examinations in hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces, and body fluids in accordance with established procedures and service standards to support doctors’ diagnoses.
Input data into the system and release laboratory test results as required, both computerized and manual, to ensure complete and timely availability of examination data.
Prioritize reporting of CITO, CCU, and critical test results to ensure they are promptly communicated to doctors or nurses.
Record the usage and request of equipment and reagents, and carry out preventive maintenance activities to ensure availability, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Collect required data and prepare reports related to operational activities as a form of accountability to supervisors.
Implement quality and safety service procedures and practices, including participating in training, data collection, documentation, and/or report preparation to support the achievement of hospital indicators and unit targets.
Job Requirements
Minimum education:
D4 in Medical Laboratory Technology (ATLM).
Possess a valid Practice License (SIP) and Registration Certificate (STR).
Proficient in phlebotomy and skilled in operating laboratory equipment (at minimum: hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis).
Have a proven track record in sampling with a low sampling failure rate.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working across all laboratory test groups.
Experienced in performing daily quality control (QC).
Experience in a middle managerial role is an advantage.
