Technical Project Manager (Client Integration) — US Client, API + Computer Vision

You will lead the delivery of a 12-month B2B integration for a US-based competitive gaming platform. Our system provides automated match outcome verification via API endpoints, with production monitoring and auditability requirements. You will own execution: requirements, sprint delivery, QA/UAT, go-live readiness, and ongoing delivery governance.

This is not a generic PM role. It is integration, delivery + client-facing execution + scope control in a performance-sensitive system.

What you will do (specific responsibilities)

• Own the relationship operationally with the client’s business + engineering stakeholders (weekly sync, async updates, escalation handling).
• Convert client needs into clear technical requirements
  : endpoint definitions, payload schemas, auth requirements, event taxonomy, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain a single source of truth
  : integration spec, decision log, and change requests.
• Run a 2-week sprint cadence: sprint planning (commitments, sequencing, dependencies), daily standups, sprint demo to client, retro with action items tracked.
• Maintain Jira/Linear board hygiene: stories written with testable acceptance criteria; statuses reflect reality; blockers escalated fast.
• Coordinate cross-function execution across: 2 developers (API endpoints, monitoring/audit, deployments), label/domain specialist (signals/events spec, edge cases, ground truth), QC (test plan, regression, UAT coordination)

Quality, SLA readiness & go-live

• Build and enforce a Definition of Done for each deliverable: unit/integration tests complete, QC sign-off completed, client UAT completed (or explicitly waived), monitoring dashboards/alerts in place, documentation updated.
• Own release readiness: cutover plan, rollback plan, incident playbook, and post-release verification.

Scope & commercial protection

• Operate a lightweight change-control system: identify out-of-scope requests early, quantify effort/impact, propose options (tradeoffs, schedule impact, or paid change order).
• Protect the team from “infinite iteration” while keeping the client satisfied and moving forward.

Operational communications

• Publish a weekly status report that includes: shipped items vs plan, open risks/blockers, SLA/quality metrics (where applicable), next sprint priorities.

What we are looking for (must-haves)

• 3+ years running software delivery for technical products (API integrations, SaaS onboarding, platform integrations, or data pipelines).
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with US clients in English (written + verbal).
• Practical knowledge of: REST APIs, JSON payloads, authentication patterns (API keys/OAuth), webhooks, tools like Postman, basic log reading, and debugging workflows (you don’t need to code, but you must understand what to ask).
• Strong scope discipline: you can say “yes, if…” and hold the line without creating conflict.
• Comfort operating across time zones with a consistent overlap schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with QA practices: regression suites, test case management, UAT coordination.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, Cloud Watch).
• Gaming/esports familiarity, especially interpreting match rules and edge cases.
• Exposure to compliance-adjacent environments (payments, regulated platforms, auditing).
