Quality Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for testing core exchange systems, including spot trading, order management, matching-related workflows, account and asset systems, deposits and withdrawals, KYC, risk control, and operations platforms.
• Design test plans and test cases based on PRDs, API documents, business workflows, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform functional testing, API testing, regression testing, integration testing, mobile testing, and abnormal scenario testing.
• Support testing for Indonesia local business integrations, including fiat channels, bank virtual accounts, payment service providers, Xendit, KKI, ICEX, OJK-related regulatory interfaces, and local compliance workflows.
• Verify data consistency across orders, trades, balances, frozen assets, account ledgers, transaction records, deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliation reports.
• Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects, and work closely with backend, mobile, product, Dev Ops, security, and compliance teams to drive issue resolution.
• Analyze logs, API responses, database records, and user operation flows to support troubleshooting.
• Participate in release testing, smoke testing, UAT support, production verification, gray release validation, and post-release issue tracking.
• Build, maintain, or support automated test cases to improve regression efficiency and overall test coverage.
• Help improve QA processes, test case libraries, release checklists, and quality control standards for local exchange operations.

• 3+ years of software QA or testing experience.
• Experience in fintech, payment systems, banking, securities, futures, digital assets, or crypto exchange platforms is preferred.
• Familiar with Web, mobile app, and API testing methodologies.
• Able to independently write test plans, test cases, test reports, and release verification checklists.
• Familiar with common testing and collaboration tools such as Postman, JMeter, Charles, Fiddler, Git, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Basic database query capability, such as MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, or similar databases.
• Good understanding of trading, account balances, asset ledgers, deposits, withdrawals, order lifecycle, and fund reconciliation concepts.
• Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks is preferred, such as Python, Java, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail, strong sense of ownership, and high awareness of system stability, data accuracy, and financial risk.
• Good English reading and writing skills; able to read technical documents, API specifications, and business requirement documents.

• Experience testing centralized crypto exchanges, Web3 wallets, custody platforms, trading systems, or financial transaction systems.
• Understanding of spot trading, futures trading, matching engines, market data, order books, K-line charts, and Web Socket data flows.
• Experience with payment channels, bank virtual accounts, KYC, AML, Travel Rule, compliance reporting, or regulatory reporting systems.
• Experience with performance testing, security testing, reconciliation testing, or ledger testing.
• Familiarity with Indonesia local payment, banking, exchange, or regulatory infrastructure is a strong plus.
