Senior Custom Clearance Specialist

Join Rise Again Logistic Indonesia as our Senior Customs Clearance Specialist and become a key contributor to our international freight forwarding operations. We are seeking an experienced customs professional to manage end-to-end import and export customs declarations, regulatory compliance, and documentation while ensuring efficient cargo clearance and uninterrupted supply chain operations.

Manage the complete customs declaration process for import, export, and transshipment shipments while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Prepare, verify, and maintain all customs and shipping documents, including Certificates of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificates, and other regulatory documentation.

Monitor Indonesian Customs regulations and ensure company compliance with customs, quarantine, and other government requirements.

Act as the primary liaison with Customs, Quarantine, freight forwarders, shipping partners, government agencies, and internal operational teams.

Process declarations through CEISA and other government electronic platforms while maintaining accurate operational records.
Able to create PEB/PIB

Investigate and resolve customs discrepancies, shipment inspections, documentation issues, and clearance delays to minimize operational disruptions.

Prepare accurate customs reports, operational documentation, and compliance records for internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in customs clearance, customs brokerage, or international freight forwarding.

Strong experience handling both import and export declarations.

Experience in air freight operations is highly preferred.

Valid Customs Broker License / PPJK / BNSP Certification is mandatory.

Strong understanding of Indonesian Customs regulations and procedures.

Excellent knowledge of HS Code classification and import/export documentation.

Experience with CEISA and other government declaration systems.

Familiar with Certificates of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificates, and regulatory documentation requirements.

Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Comfortable conducting daily business communication with international customers, overseas agents, customs authorities, quarantine agencies, and internal operational teams to resolve documentation, compliance, and customs clearance matters promptly.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Experience using customs declaration and freight forwarding systems is preferred.

Highly detail‑oriented with excellent analytical skills.

Strong time management and organizational abilities.

Able to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.
