As a Utility Maintenance Supervisor
, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and availability of all utility systems and production support equipment. You will lead the maintenance team in executing preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing equipment downtime, and maintaining operational excellence to support uninterrupted manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for utility equipment and facilities.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality maintenance work.
- Monitor utility equipment and spare parts inventory, and coordinate procurement when required.
- Ensure immediate response to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Prepare maintenance reports, equipment service records, and periodic performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Promote and enforce Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards across the maintenance team.
- Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in utility or maintenance operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including LVMDP and MVMDP.
- Good understanding of hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of PLC will be an advantage.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Experience in maintaining forklifts, generators (gensets), air compressors, and hydrant systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
As a Utility Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our production facilities, utility systems, and critical equipment operate safely, efficiently, and without interruption. Your leadership will directly contribute to maintaining productivity, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.
