Manage apparel sample development from prototype to final approval.
Conduct fit reviews and assess garment construction, quality, and workmanship.
Communicate technical corrections and development feedback to vendors.
Drive costing discussions, MOQ negotiation, and margin optimization with suppliers.
Resolve development issues related to fabric performance, trims, shrinkage, color, wash, and construction.
Maintain development tracking, monitor progress, and flag risks or delays.
Partner with QC/QA teams to ensure production feasibility and quality compliance.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Product Development, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in apparel product development, with at least 2 years in managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of apparel fabrics and garment construction.
- Solid vendor management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Highly structured, detail-oriented, and timeline-driven.
