Our client is a Manufacturing company. Currently, they are looking for Plant Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership and direction for plant operations, ensuring production activities, equipment performance, utilities, and manpower resources are effectively managed to achieve business objectives.
Establish operational strategies, work plans, and production priorities to ensure smooth manufacturing execution and timely delivery of products.
Manage plant operating costs through effective budget planning, expense monitoring, and resource optimization.
Drive manufacturing performance by improving productivity, process efficiency, equipment reliability, and operational stability.
Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with company standards, customer requirements, quality objectives, and applicable management systems.
Lead the implementation and improvement of the company's Integrated Management System, including Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and SMK3 requirements.
Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring safe working practices, proper risk control, availability of safety equipment, and compliance with workplace safety procedures.
Maintain high standards of workplace organization through effective implementation of 5S and continuous improvement activities.
Manage, develop, and motivate plant teams by establishing competency development programs, providing training opportunities, and improving workforce effectiveness.
Ensure production machinery, utilities, and supporting equipment are properly maintained, monitored, calibrated, and optimized to support product quality and manufacturing output.
Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities related to equipment, materials, manpower, and processes, and provide timely recommendations to management.
Ensure operational activities, quality performance, maintenance activities, and other plant-related information are accurately documented and reported.
Maintain proper environmental practices by ensuring responsible handling, storage, and disposal of waste and production-related materials.
Collaborate with senior management on plant improvement programs, strategic initiatives, and special projects as required.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, environment, quality, cost, and development.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Business English proficiency for technical discussions with foreigners.
Minimum 8 years of working experience as a Plant Manager in the cable manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of production management, machinery, utilities, maintenance, and process improvement.
Experience managing plant operations, budgets, resources, and operational performance targets.
Good leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
