Purchasing Packaging Material Supervisor

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in any major.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing
, preferably handling Packaging Materials
.

Able to communicate with suppliers in Mandarin (spoken and/or written) is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems.

Strong negotiation skills, detail-oriented, and effective communication abilities.

Good analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.

Willing to work on-site in Alam Sutera, Tangerang
.

Job Responsibilities:

Supplier Coordination: Communicate with local and overseas suppliers (especially Mandarin-speaking) regarding price quotations, sampling, lead time, and order updates.

Purchasing Execution: Handle purchasing processes for packaging or raw materials, including PR/PO creation, price comparison, and material ordering.

Cost & Quality Monitoring: Ensure materials meet quality standards while maintaining cost efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain purchasing records, supplier data, and provide accurate and timely reports.

Cross-Department

Collaboration:

Coordinate with Production, QC, R&D, and Warehouse to ensure material readiness and resolve supply-related issues.

Issue Resolution: Follow up on delivery delays, quality issues, and negotiate corrective actions with suppliers.
