This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, company standards, and quality requirements in aircraft maintenance. Key duties include monitoring aircraft status, providing technical recommendations, coordinating with Engineering, Production, and Logistics, maintaining up-to-date documentation, and supporting audits and certifications. The role also involves conducting inspections, investigations, and trainings to promote continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of working experience as Quality Control Inspector
- Bachelor's degree, aviation/engineering
- Aviation background is preferred
- Be familiar with relevant aviation regulations, company manuals, SOPs, forms and requirements.
- Constant inspection and monitoring of aircraft status during maintenance for any defects or technical issues that are encountered.
- To provide technical expertise and recommendations to production/engineering to rectify defects before aircraft delivery.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Logistics Departments to ensure successful completion of aircraft maintenance.
- Ensure that all technical documents, paper and electronic version used are up to date.
- Conduct project inspection on aircraft and generate Project Quality Inspection reports on aircraft maintenance activities as assigned.
- Assist in external audits for successful certification (AS9100/ISO
9001, IMAA, DGCA, etc.). - Updating and maintenance of IDS group Company Authorization List (LAME/Technicians Signatories).
- Conduct accident/incident investigations (as required) and recommend appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure the compliance and continuous improvement of all Quality & Safety related matters at the workplace.
- Conduct internal Quality & Safety induction trainings, toolbox briefing and other appropriate mandatory training (when necessary).
