Assistant Chief R&D

About the role

The Assistant Chief R&D is a critical role at PT Fumakilla Indonesia, a leading manufacturer in pesticide industry. As the Assistant Chief R&D, you will be part of the R&D team to drive the company's innovation agenda and support the development of new and improved products. This is a full‑time position based in Tangerang Banten.

• Create and develope pesticide product
• Contribute to the development of new product concepts and the enhancement of existing products
• Analyze the physical and chemical aspects of products
• Prepare technical documentation for products and raw materials (work instructions, SOPs, etc.)
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholder to develop new product
• Perform other assigned tasks

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering / chemical
• 4 years of experience in a similar R&D preferably pesticide industry
• Understanding pesticide formulation and understand about manufacturing process (preferably pesticide)
• Understanding pesticide evaluation (efficacy and stability testing) is a plus
• Good analytical thinking and strong analysist as researcher
• Have strong leadership and communiaction skills
• Understanding consumer needs, market trends, and regulatory standards
• Fluent in english (write and speak)
• Able to speak japaneese is a huge advantage
• Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to product development and safety
