Job Description
1. Laboratory Analysis of Raw Materials and Feed Products

Prepare and perform laboratory testing of raw materials and animal feed products in accordance with established analytical methods and procedures.

Conduct analyses including but not limited to:
Moisture Content Protein Protein Solubility Index (PSI) Protein Dispersibility Index (PDI) Crude Fiber Ash Calcium Sodium Phosphorus Fat Free Fatty Acid (FFA) Peroxide Value (POV) Xanthophyll Rice Hull Hair & Wool Urease Activity Aflatoxin by ELISA Reference Test Ring Test

Ensure all analyses are performed according to approved methods, work instructions, and quality standards.

Prepare and present analytical results accurately and within the required timeframe.

2. Sample Management and Data Control

Receive, identify, label, store, and prepare samples for laboratory testing.

Maintain sample integrity and traceability throughout the testing process.

Record, verify, and archive analytical data and laboratory records.

Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and proper retention of laboratory data.

3. Chemical Reagent and Laboratory Equipment Inventory Management

Manage inventory of laboratory chemicals, reagents, standards, and consumables.

Monitor stock levels to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations.

Ensure analytical instruments and laboratory equipment are available and ready for use.

Coordinate replenishment and procurement requests when necessary.

4. Laboratory Equipment Maintenance and Verification

Support calibration, verification, and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments according to established schedules.

Ensure laboratory equipment is functioning properly and capable of producing reliable results.

Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate corrective actions when required.

5. Implementation of 5S and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS/K3)

Participate in and support 5S implementation activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.

Comply with all occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow laboratory safety procedures.

Identify and report safety hazards and unsafe conditions.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination and Communication

Coordinate with Quality Control, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other relevant departments regarding testing requirements and analytical results.

Provide timely and accurate laboratory information to support quality and operational decisions.

Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

7. Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve laboratory efficiency, effectiveness, and analytical accuracy.

Recommend and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Support the implementation of approved continuous improvement projects.

8. Documentation and Quality System Management

Maintain SOPs, work instructions, analytical procedures, forms, and quality records related to laboratory operations.

Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, current, and properly controlled.

Support internal and external audits as required.

9. Department Asset and Inventory Control

Manage laboratory assets and inventories under assigned responsibility.

Ensure laboratory resources are utilized effectively and maintained in good condition.

Prepare inventory reports as required by management.

10. Compliance and Professional Conduct

Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and laboratory quality standards.

Maintain the company's professional image through ethical conduct and effective collaboration.

Support a positive and harmonious working environment.

11. Other Assigned Duties

Perform additional duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of the position.

Support departmental objectives and operational requirements as needed.
