Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute horticultural research trials to evaluate new plant varieties, fertilizers, and growing techniques.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations for product development.
- Develop and optimize propagation, cultivation, and pest management protocols for various horticultural crops.
- Collaborate with breeders, agronomists, and marketing teams to align research objectives with business goals.
- Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, observations, and results, ensuring data integrity.
- Stay current with scientific literature, industry trends, and new technologies in horticulture and plant science.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Botany, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in horticultural research or plant science.
- Strong knowledge of plant physiology, genetics, and breeding principles.
- Proven experience in experimental design, data collection, and statistical analysis.
