R&D Formulator Decorative

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical R&D Formulator to support the development and performance evaluation of decorative cosmetic products, particularly eye makeup. This role focuses on developing testing methods, evaluating product performance, and supporting formula innovation to ensure product quality and performance.

• Conduct water resistance and wear performance testing for existing products, new product development (NPD), and formula banks.
• Develop and improve testing methods for product performance, including long-lasting, waterproof, smudge-proof, and sweat-proof claims.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and in vivo panel testing for eye makeup products.
• Evaluate eyelash and eyebrow performance through mapping and image analysis, including volume, curl, length, and width.
• Develop in vitro testing methods and analyze their correlation with in vivo results.
• Develop testing methods to evaluate makeup removers, cleansers, and other relevant product performance attributes.
• Explore testing method improvements, including automation where applicable.
• Review scientific literature and apply relevant findings to research and product evaluation.

• Bachelor's degree (S1/D4) in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, or related scientific fields.
• Fluent in reading and reviewing scientific journals and research papers.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in laboratory testing.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific research skills.
• Agile, proactive, and able to take initiative in managing projects.
